Hi. I’m a web developer from Denver, CO. I created Roots, a WordPress starting theme for developers based on HTML5 Boilerplate.

I make (and help others make) awesome sites with WordPress. While I mostly work with front-end development (♥ HTML5 & CSS3), I’m no stranger to PHP and have built countless WordPress themes and plugins.

I’ve been building websites professionally since 2006 and WordPress-specific based sites since 2009. From December 2009 until April 2011 I built several hundred WordPress themes for a ‘website factory’ in Northern Colorado.

In April 2011 I started working at Blue Riot Labs. Our biggest client (and my favorite project) is working with Hearst Corporation on their WordPress network which now receives over 100 million pageviews a month. I’ve been the main code-pusher for the team and have worked on each of their networks, including: Houston Chronicle’s Blogs, San Francisco Chronicle’s Blogs, Times Union Blogs, and Seattle Post-Intelligencer’s Blogs.
